The claret GG Hopper (Gorgeous George) is a pattern of recent years, this fly has gained a strong following in the west of Ireland where it is fished from early Summer through to the back end of Autumn. It has been particularly effective on Loch Mask, where it earned its early reputation, but has now been fished with confidence and success throughout the great lakes of the West of Ireland.
