Almost a throwback to the original 'Suspended Buzzer', the Black Golfball Buzzer pattern is designed to allow effective fishing of what is now known as 'The Washing Line' technique. It is fished at the far end of a long leader, with at least two other buzzer or emerger type patterns on the droppers above it. It is used to maintain the fishing height in the water of these other patterns. This it does very effectively, and has also been known to take its own fair share of fish when conditions suit.
