The Dark Cruncher is a great Olive nymph / emerger imitation which has gained huge popularity in recent years. It is fished on stillwaters as part of a team of flies. Its subtle Dark colouring and generic shape means that it imitates most aquatic insect life. It is not unknown for anglers to fish them three at a time - just in case you understand !
