The Claret Murrough Irresistible style of dressing involves spinning deer hair on the hook shank and then trimming it to form a body shape on the fly. The claret version is extremely popular for late evening fishing as a single fly due to its high-floating characteristics. It is often fished on the top dropper on a team of flies as an attractor pattern which creates a great wake and disturbance at the water surface.
